Homeland Security Didn't Get Money
The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security didn't get the $7.6 million that officials expected from driver's license fees. That's because many counties aren't complying with a new law that would allow the agency to collect millions in fees when people get their licenses reinstated.
