Former Vice Mayor Arrested Again
Mount Carmel's former Vice Mayor has been arrested again. He was arrested last week by Kingsport police on indecent exposure charges. A motorist told police that 30 year old William Lee Blakely drove beside her on Interstate 26, fondled himself and made obscene gestures. Detectives say that once word got out an additional 26 claims from women across the Tri-Cities have been received. He was arrested on 2 additional charges. Blakely posted a 40 thousand dollar bond and was released. He will be in court on April 4th. (jb)
