Barricaded Man Sets Bathroom On Fire
Johnson City police arrested a man who barricaded himself inside of a bathroom at a home he was staying at without permission. The homeowner has been out of town for nearly a month. Her son checked on the property and found 39 year old Brian Coggins inside. Police were called and Coggins barricaded himself inside the bathroom and set it on fire with lighter fluid. He charged at police and had to be tased. Johnson City Fire Department crews put out the fire. Coggins was taken to the county jail and booked under a 91 thousand dollar bond. (jb)
