A Lee County, Virginia grand jury has indicted a man in the shooting death of his wife. 46 year old Timothy Carter is suspected of shooting and killing 34 year old Amy Carter in April, 2011. His mother called 9-1-1 to report that Amy Carter had killed herself. However, police became suspicious because of the amount of time that had passed from the time of her death. Forensic testing led authorities to get the grand jury indictment. Timothy Carter was arrested and is being held without bond in the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail. (jb)
