A Hampton, Tennessee woman has been arrested after trying to return stolen merchandise for credit at Belk's in Johnson City. It was determined that the items were valued at 540 dollars and had been stolen from the store earlier in the day. Ashley Stevens was taken to the county detention center where she is being held under a 5 thousand dollar bond. (jb)
