Daylight Savings Time Begins This Weekend
Daylight savings time begins this weekend, and fire departments across the region recommend you check your smoke alarms. It's recommended you change batteries in the smoke detectors when you change your clocks. Also if your smoke detectors are over 10 years old, it's recommend you replace the detector. Fire crews also recommend you check your batteries each month, and to develop and practice a home escape plan. (jb)
