There was a dramatic rescue Wednesday of a stranded hiker on Unaka Mountain. Ardenia Gaines was hiking when she became stranded in the snow. She made a 4:00 am Wednesday morning call to her mother in law who in turn called for help. Rescue crews were able to get to her and after several hours they brought her to Unicoi County Sheriff's Office just before 4:00 pm. (jb)
