Sullivan County Mayor has given his recommendation that William Anderson, a certified public accountant, become Sullivan County’s new budget director. Anderson has been director of finance at the airport since 2007. The county has been without a full-time budget director for nearly a year after the retirement of Larry Bailey last April. The commission must approve Godsey’s recommendation and will likely vote on that issue today.
