Murder Trial Set to Begin This Week
Gregory Jerome Hale was shot to death in his home in Nicklesville, Virginia on Christmas 2011. Bristol resident Charlie Joe Ramey will go to trial for his death. Authorities suspect drugs and robbery were motives for the killing. Jury selection is scheduled to begin tomorrow in Scott County. Ramey faces life in prison on the first-degree murder charge.
