Wolves Will Soon Line the Streets of Abingdon
Abingdon's colorful wolves will return in May. The popular "Who's Afraid of Virginia's Wolves" art project will line the streets with painted statues of wolves and wolf cubs. Abingdon was once named Wolf Hills by Daniel Boone. The sponsor, Advance Abingdon, says the statues promote and preserve that history.
