Breaking News...robbery car chase
Reports of a robbery at a South Roane street business led to a chase into Unicoi County. Johnson City police responded to a call from La Perla restaurant saying a man entered and demanded money. The man did say he had a weapon. At the same time Unicoi County was working on a reported stolen car...the same kind the robber was left in. Unicoi authorities chased the car…which reportedly had children inside when the suspect finally ditched the car and ran on foot into a wooded area. The man took off in the Norton Hollow road area and is considered armed and dangerous. A woman was also in the car she was taken into police custody. (CC)
