Narcotics arrest
An ongoing narcotics investigation led to the arrest of two people on Interstate 26 when two people were found to have marijuana and Oxycodone pills. Police say a Chrysler Pt cruiser was caught speeding through a construction zone. Officers stopped the car and found the driver 39-year-old Angel Sutherland and 49-year-old Johnny Barbour was in the car that smelled of marijuana. Barbour admitted to having the drug…police say he resisted arrested for just a moment…they found that was so he could try and drop the oxycodone onto the ground to avoid getting caught with them. Both are charged with possession of drugs for resale. Police say they did confiscate the PT cruiser. (CC)
