Special Court House Closing In Carter County Thursday
The Carter County Sheriff's Department and the Carter County Emergency Management Agency will be shutting down the main Elizabethton courthouse for two hours Thursday morning. Emergency management agency director Andrew Worley it's to allow for training and emergency practice. In recent months bomb threats and other possible volatile situations have led officials to put together a emergency plan for the facility. The two hours from 8 AM to 10 AM will allow staff and employees to train and adapt to the planned procedures.(CS)
