Former Greene Deputy Sentenced
A Former Greene County Sheriff's Deputy is been handed a federal prison sentence in U-S District Court in Greeneville. Robbie Morgan pleaded guilty in December 2 to sexual assault under the color of law involving a Greene County woman. Magistrate Judge Dennis Inman sentenced Morgan to 311 days of federal prison time and one year of supervised probation. Two separate civil suits have been filed against Morgan in sexual assault cases. He will begin his almost year-long federal sentence this summer. He is free on bond.(CS)
