Break From the Interstate
A new campaign is trying to promote old U.S. highway 21 that runs from Jonesville, North Carolina to Wytheville, Virginia. The new motto is take a break from the interstate which they hope will get people on Interstate 77 to divert themselves onto the winding mountain road to see parks, museums, and scenic views. The campaign will kickoff next weekend when they do the highway 21 cruise through...with several towns along the roadway holding events throughout the day. (CC)
