Farmers Market
It is a rainy start for the third season of the farmers market on the campus at ETSU. The market has plans to run every Thursday until May 2nd. New this season is a type of cooking demonstration that will teach how to cook healthy using limited cooking equipment. These cooking demonstrations are possible using a grant from the Appalachian Farmers Market Association. The market is also adding new vendors, with fourteen vendors selling produce, grain fed beef and pork, cheeses, and gourmet chocolates. The school is one of three that are not land grant universities that offer a farmerís market. They will be every Thursday in the parking lot between the Culp Center and Roy Nicks Hall from 10am to 2pm. (CC)
