Shooting Victim ID
There are still many questions surrounding a shooting incident in Johnson City on Wednesday but authorities say they now have an identification of the victim. Quinton Rogers was dropped off at the emergency room at Johnson City Medical Center with a gunshot wound. He told staff at the hospital he did not want any police involved, but the hospital says it is required by law to contact police in such cases. Police say it is still an open investigation, and they are going to speak with the victim as soon as he is able. They did find the car that dropped Rogers off at the hospital and spoke with the driver but are not releasing any details of the information they received. Police say they are unsure of the location the shooting happened. Rogers was shot in the stomach and had surgery to repair the damage. (CC)
