KPD Makes Felony Drug Arrest
After a traffic stop on Lynn Garden Drive, members of Kingsport’s Vice Unit and Swat Team made a couple of arrests. Dwayne Fields was a passenger in the vehicle and had marijuana on him and was charged with Simple Possession. Police were able to get a search warrant for the home of the driver, Antwaun Hendricks and found $2,400 in crack cocaine along with other drugs and paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged with Possession of over .5 grams of Crack Cocaine for Resale, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Simple Possession of Marijuana, Maintaining a Dwelling were Narcotics are Used/Sold/Stored and Driving on a Revoked License. He will be in court this morning.
