Deputy in Car crash
A Carter County deputy suffered only minor injuries when the car he was driving was involved in a three-car crash. The accident happened at the intersection of Broad Street and Academy. The sheriff’s office says Deputy Wayne Pritchard was involved in the accident but was not at fault. The Tennessee Highway patrol is investigating the accident. Pritchard was on duty at the time of the accident. He has returned to work after being treated for his injuries. (CC)
