Door to door salesman
Kingsport police say they have received several complaints about door-to-door salespeople in the community. The city says door-to-door sales require a permit and there are currently no active permits issued by the city. Kingsport police are asking citizens to report any suspicious people that are trying to do door to door sales without a permit or proper identification. If it can be obtained safely they ask that you make note of the description of the person such as type of vehicle, clothing, and physical description. (CC)
