Sullivan Co. Health Dept. Offers Free Health Screenings
If you’re interested in a free health screening, you’re in luck this week. The Sullivan County Health Department will check your blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol. They’ll check for breast, cervical and prostate cancer, STDs and skin cancer. The screenings are available to anyone regardless of income or insurance and no appointment is needed. Women can go to the Blountville office today or the Kingsport office on Wednesday between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Men should go to Blountville tomorrow from 9 to 3 or between those hours in Kingsport on Thursday.
