Cyclist hit on stone drive
A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a car in Kingsport Sunday. The accident happened around 7pm after the driver of the motorcycle ran out of gas while traveling on stone drive. He pulled the motorcycle off of the road and went over into the median. That is when a van ran into the man sending him into the air and landing on the pavement. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Holston Valley Hospital. There was damage done to the van from the accident…a cracked windshield and airbag deployment. Police have not released the names of those involved or whether either person will be charged in the accident. (CC)
