Love and Peace B&E
Kingsport Police say a man bashed the door of a home in with a fire extinguisher and began ranting about peace and love. Officers responded to an apartment on Holyoke street around 4:30 on Sunday morning. They entered the apartment after hearing loud thuds and found Zachary Gober swinging the fire extinguisher. The victim says the noise woke him up. He put a small couch in front of the doorway to block Gober for getting in until police could arrive. The victim told police he did not know Gober…and he kept telling the victim he needed peace and love. He is charged with attempted aggravated burglary. (CC)
