Public Golf For Country Club Of Bristol
With warmer temperatures many golfers will be heading back to the links and there is a new opportunity for quality play. Effective May 1st, non-members of the Country Club of Bristol, will be able to play that course for the cost of green fees. According to owner Brent Roswall, tennis, fitness facilities and the swimming pool will continue to operate exclusively for members. It is been a rocky financial stretch recently for the oldest private club in Tennessee. Immediately following the 2006 purchase of the facilities membership doubled but the 2008 downturn in the economy saw those numbers plummet. (CS)
