Wise County School Board Meets Again Tuesday April 23rd
Health insurance came up for discussion at the Wise County School Board meeting. The school division is looking at an over three million dollar budget shortfall for the next fiscal year. The public hearing on the budget is scheduled before the boardís regular monthly session and will focus on the school divisionís choices regarding health insurance. Less benefits because of increased deductibles is on the horizon. There will be increases for employees with the fully insured option of up to twenty dollars per month out of pocket. The next public hearing for the board is scheduled for 6 pm Tuesday night April 23. (bg)
