Saturday Mail Delivery Continues
You’ll still receive bills and all those catalogs on Saturday thanks to a ban from Congress. The U.S. Postal Service backed down from its plan to eliminate Saturday mail delivery because lawmakers made them. The Postal Service wanted to switch to five-day-a-week deliveries beginning in August for everything except packages as a way to hold down losses. The move would have saved the ailing agency $2 billion a year.
