TVA in Presidential budget
Aging infrastructure of the Tennessee Valley Authority is listed as one reason it is mentioned in President Obama’s budget to sell the utility. Selling the electricity generating company would be at a profit since TVA doesn’t use federal funds to operate. This is Travis Brickey with TVA… Brickey also says this is not the first time the idea of selling the TVA has come up in a presidential budget. (CC)
