Network decision
Roy Vaughn wants to clear up some things about negotiations between Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance of Tennessee and Mountain States Health Alliance. Vaughn says these are contract negotiations and it comes down to rates, but they are not kicking Mountain States Health Alliance from the network…they would choose to leave…While Vaughn says they want them to stay with Blue Cross…they are also making plans for customers if an agreement can’t be reached… BCBS recently agreed to a one month extension to work out a contract.
