Griffith Asks 9th District for Help
Ninth district Virginia Congressman Morgan Griffith is asking for information from his constituents on how the Federal Healthcare Reform Act is either helping of hurting them. Specifically, the congressman wants to know about the rise or fall of rates for Medicare Advantage patients. Griffith says he fears that small businesses and part time workers not currently insured will struggle because of the health care plan, since hours and even whole shifts of employees could be cut to eliminate the need to provide insurance to employees.
