Man Assaults Girlfriend
A man stole his girlfriend's bank card then used it to go on a drinking binge. When she found out and confronted him, he assaulted her. Johnson City police say someone heard the beating happen over the phone called them to assist the woman. When they arrived she told them she had been beaten, choked, and punched in the face while 29-year-old Brandon Corbitt held a blanket over her face. Corbitt was jailed for aggravated domestic assault. (CC)
