Former Police Officer Investigated by TBI
A TBI investigation is underway and it involves a former Mount Carmel Police lieutenant. Chris Jones is no stranger to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation as this is the second investigation in less than five years. The first probe led to his removal from Tennesseeís Meth Task Force, but no criminal charges were filed. No information as to why the TBI is looking in to Jones is available since itís an ongoing investigation. We do know that Jones has been fired from the Mount Carmel Police department and has hired an attorney. (JH)
