ETSU SGA
It is not unusual to have tension and even some claims of unfair actions during elections…this is going on now in Johnson City but not with the recent municipal elections…its East Tennessee State University and the Student Government Association elections. The two tickets ran a close race with each side making formal complaints about the other to an election commission at the University. Spokesman Joe Smith says the committee has issued a ruling on the matter… No other actions will be taken in the matter…but one group of candidates must reimburse the SGA offices for a ream of paper they used to print flyers for their party during the election.
