Records Looking For Permanant Home
With a Tuesday meeting planned the Unicoi County Records Commission may have a home for a pallet of records that must be maintained by County Government. Three locations are under consideration, one of those, the Ace Hardware Store on Gay Street for $1500 a month with the possibility of purchase. Two other locations with price tags of $130--and $175,000 are being considered. Materials must removed from Unicoi County Jail annex for the further development and construction plans for that facility. County government would like to solve the problem by May 1st.(CS)
