Woman Claimed Incarcerated Ex Beat Her Up
A Johnson City woman tried to get her ex-boyfriend in trouble, but he had a good alibi. Police say Nikita Stapleton went to Johnson City Medical Center and reported an attack. She said her ex-boyfriend harmed her, but police found out he was already in jail during the time she claimed the assault happened. Stapleton was arrested and charged with Filing a False Report. She’ll be in court this morning. (JH)
