ETSU Update
An attorney for one of four men arrested at Buc Ridge Apartments says the items that police confiscated from his client were just spices and other materials used in practicing his Hindu religion. Tom Jessee is representing Rishi Malhotra. The men were arrested after a fire alarm was set off at the complex. Local police have sent the items that Jessee is calling candy and religious spices to a laboratory to be tested. Malhotra, along with Elias Rasmussen, Wesley Miracle, and Brandon Buchanan face numerous drug charges relating to the possession of Marajuana and paraphernalia. A pressure cooker was also found among the materials…police also seized it for fear it could have been part of bomb making materials. (CC)
