Mount Carmel Library Considered Tonite In Budget Meetings
Another budget workshop will be held Tuesday night. The 6 pm meeting will include the Mount Carmel Board of Mayor and Aldermen. The proposed budget is still well over a hundred thousand dollars but mostly due to the purchase of a new tractor and boom. Three thousand dollars has already been cut from the police departmentís budget affecting office supplies and postage. The county is considering the possibility of taking the Mount Carmel library back into the Hawkins County Library System. Bg
