Massey New Trial Rejected
Attorneys for convicted killer Juwane Massey say they will appeal Judge Jerry Beck’s decision not to give Massey a new trial in the 2005 shooting deaths of two Kingsport residents. Terrance Alexander and Jeffrin Nolan were shot and killed in the candle shop owned by Nolan. Massey was convicted of both murders in August. The judge sentenced him to serve two life sentences to be served consecutively (CC)
