Belk Crosses State Line To Join The Pinnacle
The developer at The Pinnacle along I-81 says they have nearly 20 letters of intent that could become contracts leading to more announcements. The Belk store in the Bristol, Virginia Mall will be moving as the retailer will relocate across the state line to join the Pinnacle development. The company hopes to open by May of 2015. They will be one of the anchor stores at the 250-acre shopping complex. Work on the Bass Pro Shop is already underway. The Belk store at Bristol Mall will remain open until the new store opens. Bristol, Tennessee officials are expecting major revenue from tax dollars from the development as they are counting on a great regional impact. (bg)
