Man Arrested for Beer Bottle Assault
A wild night at a Johnson City night club has put an Elizabethton man in jail. Employees of The Electric Cowboy told police they were trying to escort 32-year old Dennis Fletcher out of the business when he struck one of them in the back of the head with a beer bottle. Police found him running from the North Roan Street night spot but were able to catch up to him. Fletcher is charged with aggravated assault and public intoxication. He has a preliminary court appearance set for this morning. (JH)
