Carter County Mother Forced to Call Police on Her Son
She allowed their 41-year old son to stay with her, but then a Carter County mother was forced to call police on him. Michele Bartlett told police she believed her son Michael was making methamphetamine in an outbuilding on her property. Officers investigated and found components of a one-pot meth lab. After Michael Bartlett, Sr's arrest the lab was cleaned by members of the Tennessee Methamphetamine Task Force. Bartlett faces felony possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of promotion of methamphetamine. (JH)
