RHA residents want director out
Over one hundred people have signed a petition asking for the removal of Becky Wolfe as Director of the Rogersville Housing Authority. During the board’s Thursday meeting, several residents and a professional that works with Volunteers of America spoke about different instances they say Wolfe acted in an unprofessional manner. Wolfe says most residents are unhappy with her simply because her job calls for her to enforce the rules and regulations set forth by HUD. The RHA Housing Manager told the board that most of the signatures on the petition are also ones that have had to receive letters for violating the rules. While there was no action taken. The board says they are taking the complaint seriously and will be looking into the issues. (CC)
