UPDATE: Victims Named from Fatal I-26 Crash
A car accident claimed two lives, injured another and shut down part of I-26 over the weekend. Police say 40-year old Lisa M. West was driving a 1999 Toyota Camry the wrong way on the east bound lane the interstate when she hit 45-year old Laura S. Duncan head on. Officers say both drivers died as a result of their injuries from the crash. 19-year old Kayla Morelock suffered minor injuries by the accident as she tried to avoid the accident. Officers with the Kingsport Police Department Traffic Unit are continuing to investigate and are trying to figure out the exit West entered I-26.
