Belk Breaks Ground
Members of the community and members of the Pinnacle retail development being located off of exit 74 on Interstate 81 broke ground yesterday on its second anchor store. Belk will relocate from the current location inside the Bristol Mall to a new two-level 132-thousand square foot retail store in 2015. Dixie Minatra, Belk regional manager, says the store is excited about the new venture. Bass Pro has already signed on to be the other anchor store. Developer Steve Johnson says they hope to release the names of more of the tenants soon. (Cc)
