Blue stockings to BCMA
Bristol's Blue stocking club presented the Birthplace of Country Music Alliance a check from the fundraising efforts of a recent concert. The 79-plus thousand dollar check will be used for educational purposed at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum according to event coordinator Nancy Wood "We have some support within the community for the Blue Stocking Club, but this money came in at this level because the community recognizes what an asset the Birthplace of Country Music Museum economically and culturally. This is the largest fundraising total the blue stockings have ever had. (CC)
