New Information In The Shooting at Allen Creek Apartments
Kingsport Police Officers have been investigating a shooting at Allen Creek Apartments. The gunshot victim identified himself as Charles Creadle when he was taken to the Holston Valley E.R. and admitted with multiple gunshot wounds. After an investigation of the crime scene, a substance believed to be crack cocaine was found inside the refrigerator of the apartment occupied by Tiffani Conn, who was then charged with Possession of over 26 grams of Cocaine for Resale. The individual identified as Charles Creadle was released from Holston Valley Hospital and arrested by Kingsport Police Officers then booked into the Kingsport City Jail on the Possession charges. It was determined at the jail that Creadle was actually Damien Maurice Buxton who was wanted on an outstanding warrant by the Rockdale Sheriff’s Office in Conyers Georgia as a convicted sex offender who failed to register with Kingsport police. Buxton now faces identity Theft, being a Fugitive from Justice, and failure to register, as a Sex Offender. The investigation into the actual shooting at Allen Creek Apartments is still ongoing and anyone with information can call the Kingsport Police Departments Criminal Investigations Division. (bg)
