Sullivan County Election Day
The final hours of campaigning are underway for the 2013 municipal elections in Kingsport, Bluff City and Bristol. Kingsport and Bluff City are looking for mayors. Five candidates are running for Alderman posts in Kingsport. Only three will be winners. There are three candidates for alderman in Bluff City and nine hopefuls in Bristol Tennessee for city council seats. There will only be three winners in the Council race in Bristol. Spending is been high in some campaigns with the exception of Bluff City, which is seeing a low-key mayor’s race and aldermen contest being run despite strong emotions in the community.
