Obstruction Arrest
Washington County police have arrested a woman after she attempted to get in the way of their arrest of a Johnson City man wanted on several charges. Police went to a home on Bowmantown road in the Limestone area to find 38-year-old Lamont Veatch. Veatch was wanted for violating his parole, several driving offenses including not having a license, for failure to appear in court and on child support charges. When they arrived at the home 38-year-old Karla Devoti tried to keep officers from making the arrest. She was charged with obstruction. (CC)
