Trial Date Set in Double Murder
Three men who are accused in a double murder in Roan Mountain will have separate trials, and one has a deadline for a plea deal. Jonathan Shell, Jeffery Whitehead, and Tyler Shell are accused of shooting Joyce Brock and Glenn Shell in the garage of their Roan Mountain Home. All three men face two counts of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Whitehead has a trial date set for January of 2014, Jonathan Shell that February. Tyler Shell will first have a plea-deadline hearing set for the 18th of July. (CC)
