Problems for VI Continue
The problems for Virginia Intermont College continue as the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges decided to remove the school's membership. If VIís appeal is denied, the school could lose its accreditation. Officials with the school maintain the decision from SACS "...is based solely on the College's financial position and not on academic programs."
