Tuition increase
College tuition will be going up at area public institutions in Tennessee. The Board of Regents voted to increase tuition and fees at both state universities and community colleges. Locally Northeast State will see an increase of over one hundred dollars per year for community colleges. East Tennessee State University will see the largest tuition and maintenance fees increase at over 550-dollars per year. There was some good news for those attending Technology centers in the state; they will not see any increase this year (CC)
